Cedric And Dante Diggory : In A Happy Different TimeLine

In A Different timeline Cedric Diggory survived the Triwizard Tournament, he found love and happiness with Cho Chang. The couple had a beautiful and lively toddler son named Dante, who brought joy to their lives every day.

The young boy's eyes sparkled with admiration as he looked up at his father, who was his hero and role model.

"Daddy, tell me more stories about when you were younger!" Dante pleaded with a bright smile.

Cedric chuckled and ruffled his son's messy black hair. "Alright, my little champion. Which one would you like to hear about today?"

"Daddy, tell me about the Triwizard Tournament!" Dante exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.

Cedric took a deep breath, reminiscing about the adventure that had changed his life forever. "Well, it all began when I was chosen as one of the champions to represent Hogwarts. I faced many challenges in the tournament, but the most dangerous one was the third task in the maze."

He proceeded to recount the thrilling tale of how he navigated through the treacherous labyrinth and encountered the dark forces that awaited him. But the story took an emotional turn as he explained how he had almost lost his life during the tournament and how Harry Potter had saved him.

"Harry Potter, your dad's dear friend, risked everything to help me during that dangerous task., he and i we didnt knewed Voldemort returned, Harry saved my life that dark night, He's a true hero, and I owe him a lot," Cedric said, his voice filled with gratitude.

Dante's eyes gleamed with pride for his father and admiration for Harry Potter. "Wow, Daddy! You and Harry are amazing!"

Cedric smiled warmly at his son's admiration. "Thank you, Dante. Harry is an incredible person, and he's done so much to protect the wizarding world. But you know, I also did my part to make the world a better place."

He continued with more stories, sharing how he had stood up against Dolores Umbridge's corrupt regime at the Ministry of Magic, making her was sent to Azkaban, fighting for justice and the rights of others. He explained how he had helped Harry and his friends during the Battle of Hogwarts, joining the fight against Voldemort and his followers.

"Daddy, you're the bravest person I know!" Dante exclaimed, his eyes shining with pride and love.

Cedric's heart swelled with joy as he embraced his son. "And you, my little one, are my greatest source of strength and happiness. You and Mommy are everything to me, and I'll always do whatever it takes to keep you both safe and happy."

In a stormy night, and the wind howled outside their home, adding to the eerie atmosphere that had unsettled young Dante's dreams. The toddler woke up crying, his tiny frame trembling with fear. Cedric rushed to his son's room, concern etched on his face as he found Dante sitting up in bed, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"Dante, what's wrong?" Cedric asked gently, sitting beside his son and pulling him into a comforting embrace.

"I-I had a bad dream, Daddy," Dante sobbed, clutching onto Cedric tightly. "You were hurt, and I was so scared of losing you!"

Cedric's heart ached at the sight of his son's distress. He knew that Dante had inherited his sensitivity and caring nature, and the thought of his young mind being haunted by such nightmares was heart-wrenching.

"Shh, it's ok Dante," Cedric whispered, stroking his son's hair. "It Was Just A Nightmare, Im Here and im fine, Dont Cry."

Dante looked up at his father, his tear-streaked face searching for reassurance. "But, Daddy, what if Voldemort and Wormtail come back? What if they hurt you like in the Triwizard Tournament?"

Cedric's heart sank as he realized the impact of his past experiences on his son's imagination. He knew that he couldn't erase the memories of his past, but he could offer his son the comfort and protection he needed now.

"Dante, listen to me," Cedric said, his voice firm yet gentle. "What happened in the Triwizard Tournament was real, but that was a long time ago. Harry and I faced many challenges, but we came out of it stronger. Voldemort and Wormtail are gone, and I'm here with you now, safe and sound."

He held Dante's face in his hands, making sure he had his son's full attention. "You're my precious boy, and I'll always do everything in my power to keep you safe. You don't need to worry about those old events. They won't come back because Harry and I made sure that voldemort and his death eaters were defeated."

Dante sniffled, still clinging to his father but finding some comfort in Cedric's words. "But what if they come back in my dreams, Daddy?"

Cedric's heart swelled with love for his son. "If they do, I want you to remember that you can always come to me. I'll be right here to chase away any bad dreams and protect you, just like I always have."

With that promise, Cedric gently rocked Dante back and forth, soothing him until his sobs subsided and he began to feel secure once more. The storm outside continued to rage, but within the walls of their home, the warmth of love and protection enveloped them.

From that night on, Cedric made sure to spend extra time with Dante before bedtime. They created their own stories, full of bravery and magic, where Cedric was always the hero who defeated any fear and protected his family. And as the years passed, Dante grew to be a confident and compassionate young wizard, always knowing that he had his father's unwavering support and love.

Years Later...

Dante's eleventh birthday dawned bright and clear, heralding the start of a new adventure. As he sat at the breakfast table, an owl came with a letter, he carefully opened the thick envelope bearing the Hogwarts seal, he was accepted.

Cedric watched his son's face light up with a mixture of awe and nervousness. He couldn't help but feel a swell of pride for his son Dante. "Congratulations, Dante," he said, reaching out to tousle his son's unruly hair. "You're going to have an amazing time at Hogwarts."

But Dante, started to feel nervious.

Over the next few days, they ventured into Diagon Alley. Together, they shopped for robes, books, and potions ingredients. Dante's excitement mingled with a hint of nervousness, but Cedric was there at every step, guiding him with a reassuring presence.

When they arrived at the magical Menagerie, Dante's eyes widened at the array of creatures. His breath hitched when he saw the rats, a shiver of memory running down his spine. Cedric, attuned to his son's emotions, gently steered him towards another enclosure.

And there, in a bed of soft straw, a pair of bright eyes stared up at them. A baby fox, its fur a mixture of reds and browns, nuzzled against Dante's hand. The warmth in his heart bloomed, driving away any lingering fear. "Can we, Dad?" Dante asked, a wide smile spreading across his face.

Cedric nodded, his own heart swelling with joy. "Of course, Dante. He'll make a wonderful companion."

They named the fox Ember, a name that seemed to fit his fiery spirit. With Ember nestled in Dante's arms, they made their way to Ollivander's. The bell tinkled as they entered, and the old wandmaker emerged from the shadows.

The wand that chose Dante was made of oak wood with a core of unicorn hair. The moment Dante held it, a warm thrum of magic pulsed through his fingers, as if the wand itself recognized its new owner.

As the day of departure for Hogwarts drew near, Dante's excitement was tinged with a growing sense of apprehension. At Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, the crimson steam engine of the Hogwarts Express billowed white plumes of steam. The platform was bustling with families bidding their children farewell.

Dante clutched his father's hand, his eyes wide with uncertainty. "Dad, what if something happens to you? What if...?"

Dante suddenly got memories from that night, the memory of the nightmare of he had, seening his dad dying at hands of Voldemort, he started to cry and embraced his dad like if he dont want to leave.

Cedric knelt in front of his son, his eyes filled with warmth and understanding. "Dante, listen to me. I'll always be here for you, no matter where you are. You are a strong, brave young wizard, and I believe in you. You'll make friends, learn incredible things, and become the best wizard you can be. And remember, I'll write to you every chance I get."

Tears welled in Dante's eyes, but he nodded, trusting in his father's words. With one last hug, Cedric watched as Dante boarded the train, Ember by his side, his heart a mix of pride and longing.

As the train pulled away, taking Dante toward his new chapter, Cedric stood on the platform, his hand resting on his heart. He knew that no matter the distance, their bond would remain unbreakable, a beacon of love and support that would guide them both through the challenges that lay ahead.

NOTE:

When i was a kid, i loved Harry Potter, Cedric was one of my favorite characters in the story, i cried when he died, though the story passed, since Half-Blood Cedric was less mentioned and forgotten, sometimes i tought just because Robert Pattinson went to be Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga, but i loved The Twilight Saga, even if it was a mediocre story, but, i found comfort, and it pains me that in Deathly Hallows Part 2 Cedric (like Fred, Tonks, Dobby and Hedwig) wasnt in the resucreccion stone scene, and the cursed child gave me hope to see a happy ending for Cedric, but it was in vain.

I Refused To Accept That And I Wanted To Make MY OWN HAPPY UNIVERSE FOR CEDRIC DIGGORY!

A Champion Who Deserved Better!
