she died of illness when he was 5 years old...

He lives with his uncle and aunt, but, they are a bit...tough to him

he finds himself reflected on Quill in how both lost their moms...

(just his dream, becoming a hero like StarLord, and...maybe...becoming a Guardian of the Galaxy)
